Your route from first steps to mastery.

Master PVP

World 2’s PVP skill rewards credited player kills with fixed XP that increases at level milestones. Skill XP and the PK-points anti-farming rules are separate systems.

Available only on World 2. XP rewards shown here are fixed and do not receive the world's normal skill multiplier.

Before you begin

  • World 2 character; PVP is not enabled on World 1
  • Equipment and supplies you can afford to risk
  • Use ::pvp or click the skull skill below Construction for the in-game guide

Click the skill in your in-game Skills tab to inspect its guide. Check equipment, quests and supplies before leaving the bank.

Your training route

From first steps to mastery

These level bands are recommendations, not extra unlock requirements. Where an option unlocks partway through a band, keep using the earlier method until you reach it.

  1. Levels1–19

Learn the PvP rules and earn credited kills

Each credited player kill awards 1,000 PVP XP. Understand safe-zone boundaries, skulls, item loss and your equipment before leaving protection.

  2. Levels20–39

    Build your combat consistency

Each credited kill now gives 1,500 XP. Improve your food timing, prayer switches and escape planning; kill streaks are not required for skill XP.

  3. Levels40–59

Continue at the next XP milestone

Kills give 2,500 XP. Level 40 also adds one PK point to eligible point-awarding kills; the separate anti-farming checks still apply to points.

  4. Levels60–79

    Develop your preferred combat setup

Kills give 4,000 XP. At 70, the eligible-kill PK-point bonus becomes two. Adjust gear to what you can replace rather than risking everything for a training session.

  5. Levels80–98

    Work towards mastery

Kills give 6,000 XP. Keep skill progression separate from expectations about loot or PK-point eligibility.

  6. Levels99

Claim your cape and continue beyond mastery

Kills give 8,000 XP at 99 and the eligible-kill point bonus becomes three. Buy the cape and hood from the Lumbridge master for 99,000 coins with two free inventory spaces.

Field notes

  • PVP XP does not receive the normal 100× world multiplier.
  • Repeated opponents are not filtered out of skill XP, but PK points keep their own anti-farming checks. A credited kill does not promise a point award.
  • Ironman combat XP rules and account restrictions still exist; this page describes the separate PVP skill reward.
  • The PVP master stands at Lumbridge (3223, 3216) on World 2; World 1 uses that location for its Bossing master.
