Heroes' Quest

• Another player is needed: one of you must be a Phoenix Gang member and the other a Black Arm Gang member (from Shield of Arrav).
• Ice gloves (from the Ice Queen under White Wolf Mountain), a fishing rod and a harralander potion (unf).
• Black Arm member: a black full helm, black platebody and black platelegs.

1. Begin the adventure

   Talk to Achietties. To enter the guild you need an Entranan firebird feather, a cooked lava eel and a master thieves' armband.

2. Firebird feather

   wear ice gloves, take the boat to Entrana and kill the Entranan firebird. Pick up the feather while wearing the gloves.

3. Lava eel

   Gerrant in Port Sarim explains. Use blamish snail slime on a harralander potion (unf) to make blamish oil, then use it on a fishing rod to get an oily rod. Fish a lava eel in the lava of Taverley Dungeon and cook it.

4. Armband, Phoenix member

   talk to Straven, then in Brimhaven say the password 'gherkin' to Alfonse the waiter and talk to Charlie the cook around the back. Go through the secret passage into Scarface Pete's hideout.

5. Armband, Black Arm member

   talk to Katrine, then get ID papers from Trobert in Brimhaven. Wearing the black armour, give the password 'four leaved clover' to Garv to enter the hideout as Hartigen the Black Knight.

6. Together

   the Black Arm member talks to Grip and lures him out; the Phoenix member kills Grip and takes his treasure room key. The key opens the treasure room: each player takes one of Pete's candlesticks.

7. Finish the quest

   Give the candlestick to Straven or Katrine for the master thieves' armband, then bring all three items to Achietties.

Items awarded during this quest, or equipment it unlocks. Some are temporary, require a particular stage, or cost coins after completion.
