1. Begin the adventure

   Talk to Lucien. He wants the Staff of Armadyl from the Temple of Ikov, near Hemenster. He gives you a pendant to enter the chamber of fear.

2. Prepare your equipment

   Wear the pendant and go down into the temple. Search the lever for traps (42 Thieving), disarm the trap, then pull the lever.

3. Find your next lead

   Find the boots of lightness and wear them. With almost no weight, cross the lava bridge and take the lever piece.

4. Continue the adventure

   Put the lever into its bracket and pull it. Take the ice arrows from the chest.

5. Face the challenge

   Kill the Fire Warrior of Lesarkus (level 84) with your bow and the ice arrows. Nothing else hurts it.

6. Lava blocks the way

   give 20 limpwurt roots to Winelda and she teleports you across.

7. Finish the quest

   The Guardians of Armadyl explain who Lucien really is. Choose: side with them (they give you an Armadyl pendant, then kill Lucien at his house west of the Grand Exchange in Varrock), or take the staff to Lucien.
