1. Begin the adventure

   Talk to Edmond. His daughter Elena went into plague-ridden West Ardougne and never came back. Take the picture of Elena from the house.

2. Make the exchange

   Give the dwellberries to Alrena, Edmond's wife. She makes you a gas mask; wear it whenever you are in West Ardougne.

3. Continue the adventure

   Pour the four buckets of water on the mud patch in the garden, then dig with your spade into the sewers.

4. Continue the adventure

   Tie your rope to the grill in the sewer and ask Edmond to pull. Climb up into West Ardougne.

5. Continue the adventure

   Show the picture to Jethick. He gives you a book for the Rehnison family, in the timber house to the north. Talk to Ted and to Milli (upstairs): Elena was taken into a plague house.

6. Find out more

   Ask the clerk in the city hall to see Bravek. He is hung over and wants Trudi's cure. Get dark chocolate dust (pestle and mortar on the chocolate bar), add it to the milk, then add the snape grass.

7. Make the exchange

   Give the hangover cure to Bravek; he gives you a warrant. Use it to enter the plague house with the black cross on its door.

8. Finish the quest

   In the basement, search the barrel for the key and free Elena. Then talk to Edmond.
