Ernest the Chicken

1. Talk to Veronica

   her fiancé Ernest went into the manor and never came back.

2. Continue the journey

   Go up to the top floor and talk to Professor Oddenstein. His machine turned Ernest into a chicken, and he needs three parts to fix it: a pressure gauge, a rubber tube and an oil can.

3. Pressure gauge

   find the fish food and the box of poison inside the manor. Use the poison on the fish food, use the poisoned food on the fountain in the garden, then search the fountain.

4. Rubber tube

   search the compost heap in the garden to find a key, then use the key on the locked door of the ground-floor room guarded by a skeleton and take the tube.

5. Oil can

   search the bookcase in the library to open a secret passage, and climb down to the basement.

6. It is a lever puzzle

   levers A to F open different doors.

7. A sequence that works

   pull B and A down, then D down, put B and A back up, pull F and E down, then C down, and finally E back up.

8. Continue the adventure

   If you get lost, put every lever back up and start again.

9. Finish the quest

   Give the three parts to Professor Oddenstein. Ernest is a man again!
