1. Talk to Denulth. The trolls hold Death Plateau

   find another way up, and recover the lost combination to the equipment room in the castle.

2. Speak to Eohric

   Talk to Eohric at the top of Burthorpe Castle. The guard on duty, Harold, is at the Toad and Chicken inn.

3. Gather the supplies

   Buy Harold an Asgarnian ale (he also loves a Blurberry Special from the Gnome Stronghold), then play dice with him until he runs out of money. His IOU is written on the back of the combination.

4. Collect what you need

   Take the five stone balls near the mechanism by the equipment room. Place them on the mechanism: west column, red in the middle and blue at the bottom; east column, green at the top, purple in the middle and yellow at the bottom.

5. Speak to Saba

   Talk to Saba in his cave on the mountain north-west of Burthorpe. He mentions a sherpa, Tenzing, who lives nearby to the west.

6. Continue the adventure

   Tenzing wants 10 loaves of bread, 10 cooked trout and his climbing boots with new spikes from Dunstan, the Burthorpe smith.

7. Continue the adventure

   Dunstan wants his son to join the Imperial Guard: ask Denulth for a certificate, then give it and an iron bar to Dunstan. He makes the spiked boots.

8. Make the exchange

   Give Tenzing the food and the boots. He gives you a map of the secret way. Follow the path to check that it is safe.

9. Finish the quest

   Give Denulth the map and the combination.

Items awarded during this quest, or equipment it unlocks. Some are temporary, require a particular stage, or cost coins after completion.
