One step at a time

The walkthrough

Follow the story from start to finish.

  1. Begin the adventure

Talk to Rantz. He wants 'stabbers' (ogre arrows): cut achey tree logs nearby and make ogre arrow shafts, add feathers, then tip them with wolf bones chiselled into bone tips.

  2. Collect what you need

Take the bellows from the locked chest in Rantz's cave. In the swamp to the south, use them on the swamp bubbles to fill them with gas, then on a swamp toad to inflate it.

  3. Continue the adventure

Drop the bloated toad near Rantz to bait a chompy bird. Rantz keeps missing: he lends you his ogre bow.

  4. Continue the adventure

Bait a chompy with a toad and kill it with the ogre bow and your stabbers.

  5. Continue the adventure

Rantz and his children each want the bird cooked with a special ingredient: ask Rantz, Bugs and Fycie what they want (it differs for each player).

  6. Finish the quest

Season the chompy with those ingredients, cook it on Rantz's spit and give it to him.
