One step at a time

The walkthrough

Follow the story from start to finish.

  1. Begin the adventure

    Talk to King Roald. He wants to test a chain of signal beacons that would warn of attacks from Morytania or the Wilderness.

  2. Speak to Blaze Sharpeye

    Talk to Blaze Sharpeye, the head fire-tender, near the Temple of Paterdomus at the source of the River Salve.

  3. Light the beacon next to Blaze

    add 20 logs of the same type, then light it with your tinderbox. Talk to Blaze.

  4. Continue the journey

    Go to Squire Fyre's beacon, just west of the Rag and Bone Man's hovel (south of Varrock). Ask his permission, then load it with 20 logs and light it.

  5. Continue the journey

    Go back to Blaze. When his beacon starts to die out, add 5 logs of the same type to keep it blazing.

  6. Finish the quest

    Talk to King Roald to claim your reward.
