Serenity Update — Collection Logs, PvP Loot Keys & New Player Guides

Our latest update brings more collections to complete, a new way to collect PvP loot, voting rewards, and a clearer introduction to Serenity for new adventurers.

COLLECTION LOG EXPANSION

• Added a Bossing collection under Minigames on World 1, tracking the level 85 Bossing rewards:
Scythe of vitur, Justiciar faceguard, Justiciar chestguard, Justiciar legguards, Holy ornament kit and Sanguine ornament kit.

• These rewards now count toward collection progress and trigger the new-entry notification when obtained.

• Added separate Easy, Medium and Hard clue collections, containing the supported rewards from each clue tier.

• Added the new collections to website player profiles, with matching item images and progress tracking.

• Bossing collections remain exclusive to World 1. Clue collections are available on both worlds.

CUSTOM SKILL LEVEL-UP IMPROVEMENTS

• Bossing and PVP now flash in the Skills tab when you gain a level, like the original skills.

• Clicking the flashing skill clears the notification and opens its unlock information.

• Bossing remains World 1’s custom skill, while PVP remains exclusive to World 2.

WORLD 2 — PVP LOOT KEYS

• Added OSRS-style loot keys, allowing loot from player kills to be collected through the new loot chest system.

• Added loot chests throughout World 2’s safe zones.

• Added a dedicated loot interface for inspecting captured items and their estimated total GP value.

• Added individual withdrawals, noted withdrawals where supported, and a Bank All option.

• Added support for carrying multiple keys, with overhead indicators reflecting the number held.

• Added the ::lootkeys command to configure your loot-key preferences.

• Added saved loot-key records and recovery handling to protect pending loot across server restarts.

• Fixed key overheads replacing the ordinary PK skull. Both indicators now display together when applicable.

• Adjusted overhead spacing so skulls and keys no longer crowd player names.

• Updated desktop and browser clients to support the overhead display improvements.

STAFF TOOLS

• Added administrator/owner commands for promoting players to player moderator or administrator, and removing those ranks.

• Rank-changing permissions are restricted to administrators and owners.

VOTE FOR SERENITY

• Added a dedicated Vote page to the website.

• Choose your world, enter your existing character’s username, and complete your vote on RuLocus.

• Each verified vote awards 1,000,000 coins and an antique XP lamp directly to your selected character’s bank.

• The lamp lets you choose a skill at level 50 or above and grants 15,000 base XP, using that world’s normal XP rate.

• Voting rewards support ironman accounts too.

• Offline characters and full banks retain their pending rewards until delivery is possible.

• Added verification and duplicate protection so repeated callbacks cannot award the same vote twice.

• Rewards are tied to the selected world and account, keeping matching usernames on different worlds separate.

WEBSITE & GETTING STARTED

• Added a Getting Started page, accessible from the main navigation, homepage and footer.

• Included instructions for creating an account in the client, choosing a world and completing Tutorial Island.

• Explained the ::tp travel menu, destination categories, Home Teleport choices and World 1’s city travel NPCs.

• Added introductions to Bossing and PVP training, skill guides, milestones and skillcape masters.

• Included help with collection logs, titles, highscores, voting, website credit purchases and both in-game credit shops.

• Added guidance on reaching staff through Posty Pete.

• Fixed the pale primary-button styling so buttons match the website’s stone interface theme with clearer gold text.

• Checked the new guide and voting pages on desktop and mobile.

Thank you to everyone helping test Serenity and sharing feedback. There is plenty more to come—stay tuned!
