Serenity Update: PVP Skill, Collection Profiles & World Records
Our newest update brings a new skill to Serenity PVP, expanded highscores, detailed player profiles and more ways to follow your progress across both worlds.
WORLD 2: THE PVP SKILL
World 2 now has its own PVP skill, complete with a skull icon, a standard skill block in the Skills tab and an in-game skill guide.
• Train PVP from level 1 to 99 by earning credited player kills.
• PVP experience increases at certain skill levels.
• Every credited player kill awards skill experience, independently of the PK points farming restrictions.
• Higher PVP levels provide bonus PK points on eligible kills. Existing PK points protections still apply.
• XP drops and supported XP tracking plugins recognise the new skill.
The PVP Skill Master can be found in Lumbridge. Speak to him to learn about the skill, view its guide or purchase the cape and hood once you reach level 99.
The trimmed PVP cape features a black base, white trim and tassels, and the skull and crossbones emblem. Both the cape and hood require 99 PVP to wear.
Use ::pvp to open the skill guide.
The PVP skill is exclusive to World 2.
EXPANDED HIGHSCORES
World 2 now includes PVP skill rankings and displays PVP experience on player profiles.
Both worlds retain their own rankings, with separate skill highscores for Regular, Ironman, Hardcore Ironman and Ultimate Ironman accounts.
Searching for a player now finds matching accounts across account modes within the selected world. Click their name to explore their profile.
Administrators remain excluded from the rankings.
PLAYER COLLECTION LOGS
Player profiles now include an interactive miniature Collection Log.
• Browse all 24 supported boss and minigame collections.
• View the correct items across all 166 collection slots.
• See collected items, quantities and missing entries.
• Track overall progress and completed collections.
• Switch between Bosses and Minigames or search for a collection.
• Select an item to visit its item archive page.
The website uses the same collection catalogue as the game. Collection slots reflect rewards recorded from the relevant activity; trading for an item does not fill its collection slot.
BOSS KILLS & LEADERBOARDS
Profiles now show individual boss kill counts, a combined boss kill total and completed Barrows chests.
Each world also has dedicated boss highscores. Browse the combined rankings or choose a particular encounter, filter by account mode and search for a player.
Barrows chests have their own ranking and do not count toward the combined boss kill total.
Existing saved boss counters and available NPC kill statistics are included.
WORLD FIRSTS & RECORD HOLDERS
Each world now has a World Records page featuring:
• The first recorded level 99 in each skill.
• The player leading the combined boss kill rankings.
• The player with the most collection entries.
• Gathering record holders and total-based gathering leaderboards.
World 2’s first-to-99 records also include PVP.
First-to-99 timestamps began recording with this update. Older achievements are not assigned guessed dates or winners.
GATHERING TOTALS
Gathering records now use clear overall totals:
• Total ores mined.
• Total fish caught.
• Total logs chopped.
These totals appear on player profiles and the World Records page, replacing the individual ore record cards.
Existing saved gathering counters carry over. The mining total follows the server’s mining counter, which also includes resources such as clay, gems and essence.
Counter gaps were also corrected for barbarian fishing, bonus fish catches and logs burned by the inferno adze. Activity that was never recorded in older saves cannot be reconstructed.
QUEST JOURNALS
Player profiles now include a searchable quest journal covering all 68 quests currently registered by the server.
View completed quests, quests in progress, quests not started and earned quest points. Filter the journal by status, or select a quest name to open its available guide.
ACHIEVEMENT DIARIES
Profiles now display all six achievement diaries, covering 246 tasks.
Expand a region and difficulty to see individual completed and incomplete tasks, progress totals and whether the reward has been claimed.
Quest and diary progress comes directly from existing character saves.
CLIENT & WEBSITE IMPROVEMENTS
Desktop client 0.0.6 and updated Standard Detail and High Detail browser clients support the PVP skill release.
The latest gathering, quest and achievement additions require no further client download. Profile pages and records have also been checked on desktop and mobile layouts.
There is plenty more to come. Keep exploring, keep progressing and stay tuned for the next Serenity update!
